On Thursday (25/04/19) I had the opportunity to present all my current ideas of the direction I believe my brand should go in back to my lecturers. This included my brand positioning, target consumer, trends and market and competitor analysis. This was incredibly insightful in gaining feedback from people who have worked in industry. They gave back a fair amount of positive and negative feedback which was useful to understand where I'm going wrong and right.

Positive feedback included:
They liked and understood my
- Essence
- Personality
- Values
- Proposition
They liked that I had thought about how my trend research links with direction I would like my brand to go in
To improve:
- I need to develop and explain my brand name and possibly create a story around it
- My vision should be more specific eg. identify my goals within the luxury market
- I should just have one core USP
- I should experiment with primary and secondary target consumer ideas and be inventive
- When choosing brands to compare for my market positioning I should generally opt for brands which would be a more even competitor, such as start ups and small independent brands.
- I need to consider some words I have chosen for my brand personality - specifically using Optimistic when the brand is called Moody could come across confusing
- I need to do primary research
- Develop my logo and general visual aesthetic
I will now use this feedback to continue to develop my brand further and improve on the parts I already have.
