On the April 28th we had our very first group meeting as the advertising and promotion team to configure an action plan of how we would launch an exciting campaign to promote NTU second year fashion design's official fashion.
As a team we will be expected to head up the digital and print communications, lead by our team leader Annie Taylor. Together we will need to ensure we are liaising with the other teams to produce consistent and coherent material that aligns with the entire project.
During the team meeting I identified the different roles and jobs required, which would eventually be delegated into sub team, these were were as follows:
Flyers Posters
Event programme Direct mail opportunities
Webpage
Eventbrite page
Partnership opportunities
Manage print and share associated costs
However before we can begin designing and creating we will need material from the design team to gain an in depth understanding of the overall theme and concept in order to develop consistency. I feel this gives us an insight into how it would be to work in industry work with various different teams and fields, collaborating to produce one piece of work.
